For more than twenty-five years, Huntsville Futbol Club and its predecessors have focused their energy on the development of youth soccer players in North Alabama.  Many of the state’s very best soccer players - past, current, and future - learned the fundamentals of the game under the skillful instruction of their Strikers, Kicks, and Samba coaches.  As we approach the beginning of our third decade, HFC will complement its technical training programs with a new effort aimed at furthering the playing careers of our most passionate and talented athletes.

Beginning with the 2010 season, the club will offer COLLEGE PREP, a comprehensive program of services for college-bound athletes.  The goal of COLLEGE PREP is simple: help our most passionate players find the right fit among the hundreds of college soccer opportunities available, then prepare those players to earn a spot on a college roster. 

The program will be led by our new HFC Director of College Recruiting, Stacy Franklin.  Stacy is uniquely qualified.  As a Division 1 college soccer player, she has experienced the recruiting process first hand from the athlete’s perspective.  Stacy can also draw upon her experience and relationships with current college coaches to guide our HFC prospects and their families from the perspective of a coach.
